She Speaks!
Hey there! I am at the She Speaks conference. And I wish all of you were here. I know a lot of you are and I am loving that I get to see you, and meet you and hug you. So much better than that non-touchy feeling the computer tends to have.

I have snuck away into my room for a little while to rest and review my notes for tonight's message. I am a wee bit sleepy. I woke up at 5am on Friday and 6am today. I am so NOT a morning person but I am so excited to be here that I can't sleep!

Well, I need to go type up my notes again - changing the message a little - and play with my powerpoint - changing that too. It's like trying to decide what I'm going to wear! I just want this message to be so clear, so anointed, so powerful! I think I have too much in there so I need to cut a little or condense some stories.

Anyway, I'd treasure your prayers if you happen to pop by today before, during or after I speak. Tonight's session is scheduled to start at 8:00pm.

Father, thank you for loving me, for loving on me, for changing me from the inside out. Thank you for the story you have written in my life that I don't always embrace so easily. Thank you that the hurts, the scars, the pain and the lessons learned have prepared me for this day. Thank you for entrusting me with this message on doubt. Thank you for allowing me to experience the power of your love and the transformation of your life in me that is accomplished when I believe You. I pray that you would anoint me abundantly with your Holy Spirit as I seek to communicate what You want to say to each woman here. Lord, I simply want to usher them into your presence and lead them to the Cross. Help me not to focus on me and what I'll say or even how I'll say it, but turn my eyes upon Jesus. I want to look into the faces of these women and see who you see - who they are, where they've been, but more so who they are becoming.

I love you Lord and I depend on you in this moment and all throughout this day and evening. You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Amen.

Renee...it was powerful and annointed. I can't wait to share more with you. I just read your post now (10:45pm), but I was in the prayer room here at the Conference praying for you for awhile just after 6pm. God answered prayer my friend. Your message was why God brought me here. Thank you for being His channel.

Hope I get to see you quick tomorrow before I leave.
Love, hugs and prayers,
Joy

I came by your blog after the fact, but I've been praying for you long before now anyhow. It was good to catch one sweet smile from you on Friday. Wish I could have been there to hear your message, but I know it was great!

Your message Saturday night at She Speaks was incredible. Talk about object lessons! When you turned your back to the light, the tears started. Please never doubt your calling or capabilities as a speaker. The Holy Spirit clearly sits on the throne of your heart!

Oh Renee! I have chills again as I sit here thinking about your message Saturday night. It was most definitely anointed! So powerful!

When you turned and spoke with your back to the audience and your shadow was on the curtain behind, I was spellbound. And when you moved to the cross...I was undone. His presence was almost palpable so strongly did I feel it.

Never doubt, my friend. Never doubt. You are called. You are being used in a mighty and powerful way. God's message was loud and clear, and you were His vessel.

Love and Blessings,
Dawn

Renee,

What a wonderful weekend the Lord gave us! Thank you for being so in tune with the Lord and speaking the truth. I know my life is changed by this past weekend. Others will go back to their church and speak of the way God showed himself. Next year I can't wait to see how God moves.
I need to share an answered prayer. April of this year my husband of 22 years filed for divorce and left home. I am disabled and cannot work. My heart was so heavy on Saturday when you spoke. It was heavy because my husband had walked away from the church he was feed for 30 years. He hadn't allowed anyone to talk to him and wasn't in church. I knew when I returned home that I would not be able to share with him all the the Lord had done in my heart. I was the first one up and walking to the front. It was painful and hard, but needed to be done. I got there and prayed with one of the speakers, then walked over and laid it at the cross. As I walked back to the table, just weeping, my cell phone rang. I answered it because it was my youngest son. His words were answered prayer, "mom, dad just told us that he was going to church tomorrow". The tears started to flow harder, but now for a different reason. God is so faithful when we let go of things!
Get some rest and thank you,
(I was the one in the fast red scooter) :-0

Renee,
Your message on Saturday night spoke right to my heart. Despite my abundant blessings, I still struggle in the shadow of doubt. I believe God and His many promises, but the lies of the enemy so often take center stage. WHY?

I pray that God honors each of the hundreds of women who poured out their hearts to Him and laid their brokenness at the foot of the cross.

Thank you so much for saying, "Yes!" to God with your ministry.

Blessings,
Kelli

Renee - God heard and Answered your prayers! Saturday night was SO incredibly powerful in my life. Your talk was perfect and then afterward when we were all coming up and laying down our doubts...that time was amazing!

I've never really said that I feel like I'm standing on Holy Ground about a situation before but I DID that night. I felt so safe and loved by Jesus and all of you. It was so out of my comfort zone to come up front with the others but Christ blessed me so much for that simple obedience. Once I was up...I didn't want to leave! :)

Thanks for loving Christ and being so vulnerable and real.

I wanted to get to you afterward but wasn't able to. It was great meeting you earlier though!

What a blessing your message was to me, and so many others, it seems. Your story spoke to me, I understand what kind of adult a childhood like that can make. God has used your challenges in life to bless other so tremendously. Thank you so much for sharing your heart. I'll never be able to look at my shadow in the same way again.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dear Renee,
Thank you for allowing God to use your story and use you to touch our lives!! I was so amazingly moved by God and He miraculously released me from some fear and doubt and I am posting about it on Friday (6/27/2008). Please stop by and read about the fruits of your labors!

Thank You, and Thank you God!
God is so good!

Renee,

I don't know how to describe what God did through you. The shadow visuals were profoundly moving. I wrote only a few notes because I was so transfixed, but here's what I see in my notebook today:

I am casting the shadow of doubt!
I am the object of my doubt!
God needs to be the object of my faith! Turn towards the light! Empty self and be transparent! I was created to reveal God's glory!

WOW. That stands for Words Of Wisdom, and that is what God gave you.

Keep on, anointed sister!

Renee,

I am so glad that you are a woman of God who listens to the Holy Spirit and lets God use you! Because boy did HE Saturday night. Thank you for sharing your "mule" story. It was so crazy that it took you sharing that story to convict me of a "mule" situation in my own life from many years ago in my marriage. I praise God you let Him use you!!!

Thank you
Nichole
