Welcome to all of you stopping by after seeing JJ and me on the Made to Crave Webcast RE-Airs today.

On the set of "Made to Crave" webcast.

After the first webcast aired in January, we received questions and stories from viewers. Here are some video clips of us answering those questions and sharing more of our "Made to Crave" story.

I especially appreciated Renee's testimony on the rebroadcast today. Of course, I need to watch my food intake to remain healthy, and like most Americans, I need to lose 10 pounds, but I so very much appreciated your application to the spiritual realm. Even your son's x-box craving hit home. My 7 year old grandson is so absorbed by video games and TV that he cried when his poppa (whom he dearly loves) came by to pick him up because he didn't want to quit his game. It has become addictive, as has so much we have incorporatated into our lives today. Food, alcohol, TV, friends, internet, even doing good can all be cravings that come between us and our Lord. I greatly appreciate the work you all are doing at Proverbs 31 and especially the broadcasts you are making available. It is a message that needs to be heard. Christians are so oppressed today by "things" that we have no testimony to share with the lost that desperately need the Savior. We are craving the same things they crave. We must crave God alone as our sole provider.
Thanks for your encouraging words.
Carolyn

Thanks for the inspiring messages! I am very new to "Made to Crave" and have already been so blessed by it!

Today's "Made to Crave" webcast and your videocast with JJ really hit home! I struggle with the need to control something...anything! Whether it is food, exercise, cleaning, work, and yes, even my e-mail inbox, I go at it all 100%! I tend to build my self-worth on the things I am able to accomplish in a given timeframe. I attack any task with my heart and soul...That is until I make one little mistake. Then I throw in the towel and feel totally self-defeated. In my head I can reason that it is wrong to be driven in this way, but my inner-being obviously still struggles to get it!

Through these braodcasts God spoke to me...I must learn how to rely only on Him to fill me up and give me a true sense of completion, success and wholeness. He is the One ultimately in control! By seeking Him first, He will guide me to succeed in the things that truly matter at the end of the day. Seeking His will first, instead of my own, will allow me to stop, take a deep breath and make wiser decisions in all areas of my life.

The minitries of Proverbs 31 are such a blessing! You address the real challenges that we all face on a daily basis. The information presented can truly apply to all!

Thank you so very much!!!

I have been wanting this ever since I seen it however finances only go so far. I want to crave my Savior more and more.

I think about the points made in "Made to Crave" and on the webcasts daily. They have really touched my life. I share little "Made to Crave" isms all the time. I checked the book out of the library to read it so i don't have it to refer back to but I wish did!

I am so grateful that you and your husband JJ took the time to sit down and answer these questions. I liked JJ's answer to the first question. As I watched the webcast that is the main question that came to my mind. My husband is not there with yet but maybe someday. Thanks again for the taking the time.

I love the last Video with JJ. In our Sunday service we talked about Zepaniah 3:17 in depth. The Video with JJ was a nice refresher on this. God does delight in each one of us. What wonderful news. Our preacher had shown a video of his daughter sleeping at night and says that he goes in her room every night to see her sleeping. This is what God does for us. He enjoys seeing us sleeping peacefully. He delights in us. Thansk for the post!

That message - that God looks on us with such delight and love - is something that I wish I could bring to mind many times a day. That would just give me the right perspective for everything!

I have to confess i watch the clip today while eating french fries. I did not finish them. This has really touch my heart. I have been in back pain for almost a year now. I have not move around alot because of my back hurting. Long story short I went to the dr about two weeks ago and he wanted to start PT. So i figure I would sign up for a membership at a gym also. To get to my point. I am praising GOD for Made to Crave. I have not sign up and will not sign up for the gym. I am going to read Made To Crave. Thanks so much for this.

I love how much you and JJ communicate and are on the same page in this. We do so much better together. We all seem to crave the wrong things. Thank you for the bible verses and for answering our questions. I look forward to hearing more answers to more questions in the future! Thank you for serving Him. God bless!

Thank you so much for this broadcast. It really is something that I need to hear and to make it a focal point of my life. The thing I like most about Made to Crave is that it is so informative and like others are saying....really makes you "aware" of what you are putting in your mouth - sometimes I don't stop when I should but at least I am becoming more and more aware and prayerfully will push the "stop" button!

We are all craving something; may be all start to truly crave Jesus!
Thank you for your honesty and for sharing.

thanks for you & your husband vulnerably sharing how you both apply the principles to different issues, yet working together on the same page. What comes to my mind is doing the hard thing of practiving my NO muscle, and how each of my daily choices affect my destiny. It's a process alright! thanks for your offer

growing up, I had no control over ANYTHING in my life! my mom was the ultimate control freak. As I got older and moved out...I found that the ONE thing I could control was what I ate, when I ate it and how much of it I ate. And since I was not given much to eat growing up, I ate, and ate and ate. Then when I lost my mom and grandmother, on the same day, same year, just hours apart...the eating got even more out of hand. It ws the only thing that brought me comfort. So here I am now, over three hundred pounds and battling cancer for the THIRD time! I so need this! I so need to stay focused on God and learn to only crave Him!

I was drawn most into the conversation about discernment because I now realize that God is talking to me, but I just fail to listen. I need to discern his promptings to cut back on chocolate, facebook (just like you) and junk purchases. I hear him better now, but as I'm reading Crazy Love by Frances Chan, I realize that I'm not really showing/living my love for him, and need to listen, pray and study more. Thank you for presenting issues in this personable way. Bless you, Linda

I so appreciated hearing the answers from you and your husband. His first answer WAS surprising but was such a great reminder of what speaks love to our husbands the most! I am just starting to RE-read Made To Crave...there was so much to absorb, I wanted to go back and highlight as I go through it again:) It has definitely changed my way of thinking about a variety of issues that I have struggled with for so long. Thanks for contributing to the impact it is having on so many!

Would love to win! nikki.shoemaker@gmail.com

loved the webcast... been reading about Made to Crave, but have yet to read it - so happy this is available to us women who struggle with craving food before God. I was touched by so many aspects of the webcast, but was mostly convicted of my giving in to Satan's temptations in this area. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize! God Bless your family

I really needed the reminder of showing your husband respect. Also, the examples given of how to show that respect were very helpful. Thanks to both of you for sharing and for the chance to win.
