I took these pictures this afternoon. As I looked at my little girl and her daddy, hope welled up in my heart. And these words became my prayer for us this year...
just sitting in our Daddy's lap...enjoying Him.
And on days when we can't see Him,
I pray our confidence will still be found in Him!
May our hearts and souls seek assurance,
not in the certainty of our circumstances,
but in the security of our Father's promises!
And may we know without a doubt
that our Daddy delights in us!
Oh sweet friends, let's live each day like we're HIS!
Lavished in love. Created with purpose.
Held securely in our Father's arms!
And on days when we can't see Him,
I pray our confidence will still be found in Him!
May our hearts and souls seek assurance,
not in the certainty of our circumstances,
but in the security of our Father's promises!
And may we know without a doubt
that our Daddy delights in us!
Oh sweet friends, let's live each day like we're HIS!
Lavished in love. Created with purpose.
Held securely in our Father's arms!

Beautiful! It is so amazing to me that I belong to Him. The King. The Creator. The Almighty. Not only do I belong to Him, but He truly loves and accepts me just as I am. Praise God!
Have a blessed New Year Renee!
"May our hearts and souls seeks assurance,
not in the certainty of our circumstances,
but in the security of our Father's promises!"
Thanks for this today Renee. Just this morning my husband and I were processing these thoughts without the words to put to it. We have nooo confidence in our circumstances at the moment. In fact, every time we seem able to live at a level that previously shook us, the bottom drops a little further. Confidence in Him is the only thing that offsets the insecurity of our circumstances.
I appreciate Him giving you these words on a day my heart really needed an external reminder of it.
Mary
Love this Renee! And YES I am ready to live this year completely for Him. I'm so tired of doing life my way...IT. DOESN'T. WORK!!!!!! Thank you for this encouragement Renee...I'm on board, Sister!
Love you,
L
Oh sweet Mary, this post must be for you and your precious husband. It was totally unplanned, on my part. I just snapped these photos of Aster and JJ playing after lunch, and then loaded them on my computer to view. When I looked at them, I saw every girl's story - big and little girls that is. The photos said it all. They tell the story I want to live this year, too. I'm so thankful He put into words what your heart needed to hear. Praying for you and yours right now.
Love,
Renee
What a great way to start the new year - "living each day like we are His" :)
Thanks for this sweet reminder, Renee!
May you be blessed in 2011!
Love,
Kate
So precious! I love the pictures and the beautiful reminder. Truly, little Aster lives as we should...she does not question her daddy's love. She does not worry about bothering him. She just plops her sweet little self in his lap to love on him and let him love on her. Oh, how I do need to do that this year with my Father! I do need to live like I am His. :)
Have you heard the song "Invisible Love" by jj heller? Very good. Worth YouTubing. :)
Happy New Year, sweet encouraging friend.
Love,
K
Precious pictures. Beautiful, meaningful prayer, Renee.
Happiest and holiest of years to you and yours!

Renee, I needed this so much today! I have wrote down what you wrote, "May our hearts and souls seek assurance,
not in the certainty of our circumstances,
but in the security of our Father's promises!" Right now I have too many uncertainties with my current circustances but I must focus in the security of My Daddy's promises!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful post and beautiful pictures!
So precious!!
Love you Renee!
I pray that your 2011 is the BEST ever!!

Renee, thank you for sharing this prayer with us. It is my prayer for 2011 as well.
The pictures of your little girl and her daddy so beautifully illustrate your prayer. What a beautful visual reminder of our heavenly Father's love for us!
Love all the lessons from that Aster!! And thanks for introducing me to Time-Warp Wife here!!! xoxo
So beautiful! Aster, the hope and prayer that you shared, all of it! It's amazing to see how much has grown since you visited us at Rise & Shine in 2009. At that time, she had just made it home. She looks so healthy, so happy...and so full of hope for the future! :)
Did you ever get that Christmas family portrait you were hoping for?
Amen Renee.
Your baby girl is beautiful and precious as is the heart-words you shared about being HIS!
Blessings to you and yours!l
