i so desperatly want to find god in my life one minute i feel he's there and then the next i feel lost, forgotten & forsaken by him.i was going to church but i just didn't fit in i never felt good enough or christian enough. when i went to the womens bible study class i have never felt so out of place and scared it was high school all over again on the outside of all the cool people looking in. if i won this maybe i could get the knowledge and feel confidante to go back to church and show them that just like the bible teaches i am good enough and if i didn't fit in with them i would still have the confidence to know i fit in with god and he's all that matters. i want that knowledge thats why i would like to win.
I read Lysa's book and LOVE it. God has been nudging me for a while to do this Bible study with a group of friends. Over the last 2 weeks he has made it clear this is something he wants me to do this summer. I would love to win the DVD so our group can use it for our study. I am excited about going through the study with you on your blog! It will help me as I prepare to lead my first Bible study completely on my own.
I have not considered myself to be 'a woman after God's own heart' nor the wife and mother that I ought to be according to God's word. It is too often that I do the things that I do not want to do. Often I fail and even become complacent...but my heart's desire is to be more like Jesus - sold out - advancing His kingdom. Not a hypocrite or a Pharisee, but a true witness in every way for Jesus!
I have been on the milk way too long and sadly I admit that ought to be further along...but oh that is my desire.
Anything that would help and encourage me in my walk with Christ would be a blessing. Thank you for what you make available to all us women!

I would love to have victory over everyday life. It is so easy to let the fruit of the spirit blow out the window on the way home from church... Why do I want to win? Because I want to share this book/DVD series with the beautiful ladies that I've been in Bible study with for the last two years. Some of our studies have been great and some not so great but I believe we have all glorified God in our desire to know more about Him. What would be better than going through this study with these ladies to learn how we can take our time with Jesus to the next level. *sigh*

I would LOVE to have a copy of Becoming More Than a Good Bible Study Girl. This offer has come at a time when I have a huge burden for the young women in our church who float around on the fringes. Just yesterday I decided I needed to have regular 'Gal's breakfasts' to encourage and teach them. I feel that God wants me to lead a women's Bible Study...my spiritual gift being wisdom and my passion being seeing the Christian growth of young women around my age (23). I'm getting married in May, moving to Syracuse, NY with my husband, and likely being a stay-at-home wife. I'm excited about meeting new women in that area and starting a Bible Study group in our home.

I am hungry for God's direction and voice in my life. I'm struggling with what is my answer and what is God's answer to questions in my heart. I want to do more than just live life everyday as just another day. I want to live life everyday as a daughter of Christ.

I work with a few girls and we have been talking about getting together for a Bible study. We work together watching other mom's kids while they attend MOPs or MOMments. We see, as the year goes by, how mom's come back and are smiling. We are so grateful that we are a part of that. Wow winning the cookbook couldn't come at a better time, I have recently been appointed the coordinator of meals for the sick and bereaved at our small church. It would be a real blessing to have some new ideas to help me in this ministry.

For the past several months I have been experiencing a longing to know God more - in a way I could have never imagined before. I am reading everything I can get my hands on and studying. I'm going through the Battlefield of the Mind study right now and it is encouraging and very challenging all at the same time!
Basically, I want to be so much more than just a nice girl who goes to church and attends Bible study classes. I know God has something planned for me - I just don't know what it is. I just really don't want to miss it because I wasn't paying attention.

I've walked the walk of being the "good girl" - even viewed as "good" while living a previous rebellious life. Now I see fully that now only a "good" girl, but that I am "God's girl" & look forward to becoming More!
I have the "good Bible study girl" part down pat. I've trained for that role for my whole life - my mom went into labor while at church and I have been there ever since, attended Christian school K-12th grade, went to Bible college for a year, and now lead music and a children's Wednesday night class at church. I would like to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone and have a ladies Bible study group in my home and this sounds like the "push" I need in that direction. I always feel that I don't know the Bible well enough to give it a try.
I have a wonderful group of 15 women that show up faithfully every Wednesday night to lead little girls aged preschool through 5th Grade to become Godly women. I would love a copy to use at our church's women's bible study. I recently switched from events lead to Bible study lead at our church. I love to throw parties and event planning was so much fun for me, but without a Bible study lead we would not be able to offer a weekday Bible study. I truly would love this study. I just finished a 40 day fast (only eating fruits and veggies) and I have learned quite a few things from God.
One thing I learned is that because of issues with my Father, etc.... I was equating my Heavenly Fathers love with my Earthly fathers love and that is wrong. I have always felt my Dad didn't love me, I didn't have his attention - I felt like there was not enough love for me. And through this time of fasting and praying I realized that I let that seep into other areas of my life. With food, other realationships, etc.... And I always felt like I had to be good enough for God. I had to know more about the Bible than everybody else and I had to serve in more ways than everyone else. Subconciously I felt like God would only have enough love for me if I was good enough.
But one day while I was drying my hair, God spoke to my heart and said, "Stacie, I have enough love for you. No matter what it won't run out - I have enough for you, I love you!" Now this may seem obvious to some but to me it really made me open my eyes and to really feel the love of God.
I think that this study from Lysa would be beneficial in my ongoing journey of not trying to "be the best Christian or know more than others." I want more than that - I want the real thing.

This is perfect!!! I lead a Brown Bag Bible Study at my church (a group of women meeet during the lunch hour and I provide lunch for them). We do short (6 to 8 weeks), inviting and fellowship based Bible studies. I have had a hard time finding Bible studies that fall within the 6 to 8 week range. I have been searching and searching for one to begin in April.
I have just written an outline for a book using Galatians 5 as the topic. I am working on the idea of making a following God by using Paul's principles of authentic relationship and accepting God's grace and mercy for salvation because we can't earn it by following a simple checklist of do's and don'ts. I would so love to have Lysa's study on how to be more and to share that with a group of women would be the ultimate blessing.

I have been sharing with my girlfriends all of the excitment that's been going on with P31 today so thanks for the great opportunity to talk to them about this ministry.
The past few weeks I have been struggling with my marriage which has directly affected my walk with the Lord. So, I took Stormie's advice and created my own prayer circle. I have been in daily communication with my close girlfriends, encouraging them in their marriages as God is encoraging me in mine. I challenged them to take Tracie's challenge with me and a few of them are! A few have commited to the Marriage conf. call with Melanie in March. We're going to schedule a lunch date and all listen together and have a bible study afterwards. Can I tell you just how excited I am about this... Yeah!! All because I decided to step out and stand up for God. One of my friends told me today that "(I)possess a lot of great management qualities including: not accepting excuses and providing positive motivation for people, and not to mention your extreme attention to detail and organization." This is encouragement enough to know that the pull I've been feeling about wanting to help other women/wives isn't just a thing, it's real and it's from God. I am not sure how God is going to make this work or what He has in store, but I can't wait!

I heard Lysa speak a couple of weeks ago and have regretted not buying the set. The book is awesome and I personally think a "must-read" for women trying to figure out how to become the woman God intends us to be. I like this study and Lysa's style of delivery because so many women think they can't be "spiritual." Lysa comes across as a real person who can really relate to all of us, and teaches that we don't have to have a certain "look." God wants each and every one of us!

Not yet who God wants me to be, but *BECOMING* a woman who wants a heart like God. A stronger relationship with Christ requires *MORE* time with God. This is a study I've been hoping to get a group together to do. We're doing a congregation wide study on prayer through Lent, and I'd like to keep the girls together.

If I win the DVD set, I will take my bible study group of wonderful ladies through the journey together. Some of us have been believers since we were potty-trained and others have only recently found Christ. No matter where on the path of righteousness a girl is, we can all use the pull back to a true daily relationship with Him as we resist the "be good" pressure to "appear" good and simply live for Him.

Sounds like an awesome study. I'm intrigued and could definitely use some encouragement right now on finding some purpose and in the midst of mothering, wifing, etc! :)
I would love to do this study. My "regular" bible study breaks over the summer and I NEED something to study with some girlfriends to keep me accountable.

I would love to dig deep into this book that Lysa has written. I long to move from that knowledge based relationship with Jesus, to that intimate, heart relationship with him.

I want to win because I want to learn how to just belong to Jesus, not to have all of the right answers at Bible study.
I have felt an emptiness for years and I have finally discovered that the emptiness can be filled by having a relationship with God. I am working on developing that relationship now and I think Lysa's book would be a great resource as I continue on this journey. Thanks for the giveaway!
I may be too late, but I just read about this today! I have just started facilitating the Women's Bible Study at my church and think this would be an INCREDIBLE study to do! I am so excited about it!
