I'm heading to Princeton, West Virginia today to speak at Fairview Christian Community Church's women's conference tonight and tomorrow, and I can't wait. They raise all of the money for this event so they can offer free admission to 300+ women. I'd love to meet you there if you are in that area. No, traveling for us this weekend, but it will be busy. We're having a birthday party for Jed on Sunday - can't believe he's one already! (Which means a year ago you were getting little Aster - wow!!) With 40+ relatives planning to be here Sunday, Saturday's plans are pretty much prep work! Perhaps I should read Karen's book quickly!! On that note I appreciate your recent posts on clutter - hope to conquer a few of those areas soon!

I would really like to see your DVD session "A walk to remember"...sounds very comforting and would be a big help!
Well, it's so hard to choose...but I would love to have the Shaped with Purpose workbook (althought I don't have the CD yet!) It sounds really awful to say, but I've been trying to do a Bible study but have been struggling a bit to work through it because one of the first few questions was "What are the desires of my heart? What are my dreams?" The fact that I'm having such trouble answering those questions really bothers me and I've had trouble moving on with the rest of the study. I'm stuck. I have 5 children (age 7 and under) and my current ministry is bringing up my children in the Lord and being a helpful wife and trying to keep our home. (Thanks for the inspiration on de-cluttering!) Anyway, I do have dreams somewhere in my heart that involve serving others and doing the Lord's work "outside" of our home but I'm not sure what those dreams are, to be exact. If I don't win, I may need to get the workbook anyway...I think I could use some direction and encouragement in this area:) I always enjoy your blog! Thanks so much for what you do!

I would like God's Purpose for Every Woman....I recently got married, very excited about that, but I'm struggling a bit with how to be a newlywed, without losing my independence and identity that I had for so long. Thanks to you I tackled the mess under my bathroom sink this afternoon -- yay! I still need to buy a few more containers to collect all the odd bottles. But I'm so happy to have what some organization "down under." Even when things are out of sight, they are not out of mind. A good metaphor for our lives.

It's been a really rough road the past few years, on so many levels, and as I lean into God I still struggle with doubt. I've come a long way, but it's always good to hear a fresh perspective on God's word. And I feel sure you have some words of wisdom I could learn from.

I was looking at the resources and your Beyond the Shadow of Doubt dvd really hits home with me...
This has always been a tough area for me and that I struggle with and would like to get past..
Satan definetly uses it at those low times.
I know that it would def be a help and encouragement as I want to be the wife, mom, daughter and friend that God wants me to be.

I would choose the one that is Shaped with a purpose, but can't decide if I would want the cd or the workbook. I do much better having a workbook for quiet time so that would be good too. Anyway, I LOVE what you said about you teach in this and there are so many times I just wonder why I am me. And I so struggle with not likeing me, and I thought well, knowing more about God's purpose for me might make me see me like HE does and not how I do, or how I have been told I am for so many years from a little girl on up. I think this is a neat thing you are doing and I pray I win, but even if I don't it is amazing someone will be blessed with resources to grow in God! :)

I would love to have a copy of the Shaped With a Purpose Workbook. I am one of those people who doesn't have a "talent" - can't draw, am not crafty, can't sing or play music (though I love to try). I would love a workbook that would help me figure out God's plan for me.
